Sayap
palace pelalawan is the royal of palace that was build by the sultan pelalawan
tengku sontol said ali ( 1886-1892 M ). In his time construction of the palace
have not been resolved, then contininued during the sultan syarif hasyim II
(1892-1930 M).
Initially
at the center of the kingdom pelalawan at rasau river. This palace was
transfered beside of kampar river the period tengku ali sontol. At the time
name of sayap palace is ujung pantai
palace. But, in period sultan syarif hasyim II, then he build two wings on the
right and the left side porch of the palace as it was in the palace called the
sayap palace.
On
1896 sayap palace building completed, sultan syarif kasim II who occupy the
palace and since then the goverment center of pelalawan settled in the river
kampar wich now becomes pelalawan subdistrict.
